Yes the Hades games have a rather cartoonish interpretation of Dionysus, mostly as a result of transferring all his cthonic, violent, death and rebirth domain aspects onto their version of Zagreus (who was an esoteric epithet of Dionysus originally).

Jun 26, 2024 · Sorry if this post feels super long, I’ve been seeing more post and conversation of Ares, Athena and Dionysus possibly being included in the future and I theory crafted some boon kit ideas. I thought that Ares and Athena would be full blown gods while Dionysus was an encounter able NPC or event character like Artemis. Let me know what yall think!

Athena's Deflect will most likely come back, I think, and I'm all for it as Athena's Dash was a MUST for me in Hades 1, but I'm interested in what they could do for Ares and Dionysus because Hades 2 already kind of has Status Curses similar to Doom and Hangover
