Jun 4, 2020 · The -Attachments parameter requires path to the file that needs to be attached. So your code should be -Attachments @('C:\Scripts\test.csv') instead of the csv contents. From documentation: Specifies the path and file names of files to be attached to the email message. You can use this parameter or pipe the paths and file names to Send-MailMessage.

The -Attachments parameter for Send-MailMessage requires an array of paths, so you must write a file to disk somewhere. To send your CSV data as the body of the email, use convertto-csv -notypeinformation instead of export-csv.
