ROBLOX Points (denoted by RP) was the original currency of Roblox introduced in 2004 before Robux was implemented on May 14, 2007. They were notably earned by creating a popular game , getting the top score in a minigame , or winning a contest.

Player Points were a scoring system on Roblox, generally intended to display players' skill. Player Points were first implemented to Roblox as a beta feature on April 15, 2014 [1] and were released out of beta when they were reset in September 2014. [2] They are often represented as red coins with white stars at the center of their sides.

A service used to query and award Player Points for Roblox users using the universal point system. This class cannot be instantiated. It was added in Version 143.
