For myself, I just accidentally uninstall MS Authenticator app on my old phone, and forgot to generate backup codes or disable 2FA on my Roblox account before link it on the new phone.

My Authenticator verification code does not work. Authentication App 2-Step Verification codes only work when displayed in the app. Make sure you're entering a code that is currently active. You will need to enter the new code that is displayed in the app if the previous code did not work.

Once you enable 2-Step Verification by Authenticator App, you will be asked to enter a code every time that you log in with your password or login with Email OTP. You can find the code in your chosen Authenticator App on your mobile device.

Two step verification is an account security option that requires users to authenticate using email, a security key, or an authenticator app in order to log into Roblox. Accounts secured with two step verification will require more than just a username and password to log in.
