The Pro Football Hall of Fame’s latest modern era class was announced live at the NFL Honors ceremony Thursday in New Orleans. The Hall’s Class of 2025 is set to be enshrined in Canton, Ohio, this August and the four inductees were announced at the Saenger Theatre.

Former New Orleans Saints defensive back Eric Allen was one of four players named to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025 on Thursday during the NFL Honors broadcast at the Saenger Theater in New Orleans.

While Evans was overlooked, one former Saint did get his call for Canton. Cornerback Eric Allen had an outstanding 14-year NFL career from 1988 to 2001. Allen played for the New Orleans Saints from 1995 to 1997. Over those three years he made one Pro Bowl and had 5 of his 54 career interceptions.

After several years of near misses, Eric Allen has finally broken through. The six-time Pro Bowl cornerback has been named to the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2025.
