Denmark manager Brian Riemer has warned Patrick Dorgu that he will have to deal with ‘completely different pressure and expectations’ at Manchester United after signing from Lecce. The wing-back arrived at Old Trafford over the weekend as their one major signing of the winter transfer window in a £25m deal.

Manchester United have secured the signing of Patrick Dorgu from Serie A side Lecce for a fee of £25.2million ($31.2m; €30m) plus £4.2m in add-ons. Dorgu is United’s second signing of the January window after teenage centre-back Ayden Heaven’s arrival from Arsenal was confirmed on Saturday.
