A Cape May County grade-school teacher is accused of having a sexual relationship with a student and birthing his baby when the boy was 13, a court record said. Laura Caron, 34, slept and showered with the boy, who began living at her Cape May Court House home at the age of 11, according to a probable cause statement.

Caron gave birth in 2019 to a baby who was conceived as a result of that abuse, which occurred when the boy, now 20, was as young as 13.

A New Jersey 5th grade teacher is accused of sexually assaulting a student over a four-year span, and investigators allege she had the boy's child.
