Legoland Florida plans to lay off 234 workers, primarily performers, in an effort to be more competitive in central Florida’s thriving theme park market

Legoland Florida Resort has announced plans to lay off 234 employees, with the majority being performers, in a strategic move to strengthen its position in central Florida's competitive theme park industry.

The resort, which opened in 2011, said most of those who will lose their jobs in the coming months are entertainers.
