The Hanwha LIfePlus International Crown will have a new twist this year. The event will incorporate a World Team that will include golfers who otherwise would not have qualified via their country’s selection.

Lydia Ko of New Zealand is currently in line to be on the inaugural world team for the LPGA's international team event this October.

Lydia Ko will have the chance to play for a team in 2025. The LPGA announced on Thursday that the 2025 Hanwha Lifeplus International Crown will now feature a World Team, giving players from countries that aren't otherwise qualified the chance to compete.
