Agent' actor Gabriel Basso awkwardly attempted to avoid hugging Kelly Ripa in front of Mark Consuelos during his 'Live With Kelly and Mark' appearance: 'You're married.'

During Gabriel Basso’s Thursday appearance on “Live With Kelly and Mark,” the “Night Agent” star comically attempted to avoid hugging Kelly Ripa in front of her longtime husband, Mark Consuelos. Basso, 30, who was on the morning show to promote Season 2 of the Netflix thriller, walked out and approached Ripa with his hand extended outward.

"We do hugs here. Is that okay? Was that weird?" Ripa asked, with Basso confirming "I just wanted to give you a handshake" in front of Ripa's husband.

Kelly Ripa had an awkward run-in with one of her guests on Live with Kelly and Mark. During the Thursday, Jan. 16 episode of Ripa's talk show with husband Mark Consuelos, the pair welcomed Netflix star Gabriel Basso to the set as a guest—but his entrance wound up being a tad more awkward than they expected.
