Reward offered for man wanted in East Point rape investigation; Police believe suspect is also tied to several burglaries
East Point Police said on Jan. 31, just after 3:30 in the morning, officers responded to Highpoint Way for a call about a rape and sexual assault. With assistance from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, police said investigators were able to identify the suspect accused of sexually assaulting the victim as Walker, who is 27 years old.
Police are familiar with Walker after he was arrested in 2019 for committing similar acts in the same neighborhood.
