Rep. John Curtis wins Utah's U.S. Senate seat, promising a bipartisan approach while advocating for public lands, energy production, and U.S.-China relations.

Curtis won Utah’s open Senate seat showdown by 30 percentage points against his Democratic contender Caroline Gleich, with most precincts reporting. As of midnight on Tuesday night, vote totals showed Curtis with 62.5% of the vote, Gleich with 32.5% and Independent American candidate Carlton Bowen with 5%.

Republican U.S. Rep. John Curtis has won Mitt Romney’s open U.S. Senate seat in Utah. Curtis breezed to victory over Democrat Caroline Gleich, a mountaineer and environmental activist from Park City.
