The first of three cold fronts came through South Florida last Wednesday and took away the worst of the humidity. The second cold front came through on Friday and allowed for most of South Florida to wake up to the 60s on Saturday morning while bringing beautiful and refreshing weather this weekend.

A cold front is expected to move through Central Florida on Wednesday bringing rain and pulling in colder air for the end of the workweek. Highs will drop to the mid-60s by Friday. The incoming rain is partly thanks to the remnants of Tropical Storm Sara that fizzled out near Mexico over the weekend.

The remnants of Sara will merge with a cold front over the Gulf of Mexico, bringing humidity, rain, and showers to Central Florida later this week.

The National Hurricane Center says Sara is no longer a tropical system, but its remnants will likely bring significant rain to Florida mid-week.

Friday morning's temperatures started a little cooler but it will quickly warm into the middle 80s by the afternoon. A cold front, near Tampa Friday morning, will move south through the Florida Peninsula throughout the day and arrive in South Florida by this evening.
