Officials in Denver say 10 people were taken to hospitals and dozens were displaced after an explosion and transformer fire at an assisted living facility.

A fire and explosion were reported at a Denver-area assisted home facility on Wednesday morning. According to a social media post from the Denver Fire Department, crews responded to the fire around 11:30 a.m. local time. About a half hour later, the fire department said an explosion had been reported inside the same facility.

A 90-year-old woman has been missing from her assisted living facility since Wednesday, according to the Ocoee Police Department. Police identified the missing woman as Shirley Anderson. She was last seen in the area of Tomyn Boulevard. Police said her assisted living facility is Inspired Living Ocoee, located at 1061 Tomyn Blvd. in Ocoee.
