YouTube is close to announcing a new "premium lite" lower-priced version of its subscription service, Bloomberg reports.

According to a source familiar with the plans who spoke to Bloomberg, YouTube's Premium Lite tier will be announced soon in the US, Australia, Germany, and Thailand.
