NASA is getting excited about a special rock that its Perseverance rover has just scooped up from the surface of Mars.

According to SpaceX’s own calculation, the Roadster completed its first orbit around the Sun in August 2019 and made its first close approach to Mars on Oct. 7, 2020.

The IM-2 mission will test lunar mobility, resource prospecting and the first-ever cellular network on the moon.
