Forecasters are getting an in-depth look at the next storm that's about to wallop the West Coast this weekend, thanks to the efforts of the Hurricane Hunters.

The storm will usher in warm temperatures, which will contribute to the flooding risk from heavy rain as snow melts.

An atmospheric river is expected to affect western portions of Washington and Oregon beginning Saturday and continuing into Tuesday. This will bring the potential for urban and river flooding impacts.
