Double-click the Toolbox, locate the data flow task icon and drag it to the control flow window to create a data flow task. Double-click the task to switch to the data flow view.

In my last post, I talked about setting up and using FTP in an SSIS package. I talked specifically about using the FTP Task in the control flow and how it is slightly limited in its functionality.

In the Control Flow you have an FTP Task that is available to your package and we will look at how it is configured. The FTP Task is pretty simple, but you do a have a few options to explore.
