The Viking-age items were found in a field by a metal detectorist more than a decade ago.
The Galloway Hoard, which contains more than 11lbs (5kg) of gold, silver and other materials, was discovered by a metal detectorist in Balmaghie, near Kirkcudbright, in 2014.
