Duane "Keffe D" Davis has been in the Clark County Detention Center since his September 2023 arrest in connection with the famed rapper's 1996 drive-by killing.

Duane “Keefe D” Davis, the man accused of being involved in the 1996 murder of rap icon Tupac Shakur, finds himself in deeper legal trouble after reportedly engaging in a physical altercation with a fellow inmate while awaiting trial.

Security footage shows 61-year-old Duane “Keffe D” Davis coming to blows with a 53-year-old inmate, who’s also charged with murder.

Duane “Keefe D” Davis, a suspect in the 1996 murder of Hip-Hop icon Tupac Shakur, has been hit with an additional charge stemming from a jailhouse fight with another inmate.

The big thing working against Davis is that he went on record in several interviews confessing to being involved in Pac’s murder. In 2008, he allegedly confessed to the murder as a part of a “proffer agreement,” meaning that anything he told investigators at the time could not be used against him in court.

Keefe D was involved in a violent brawl while awaiting trial for Tupac Shakur’s murder, leading to additional charges.

A judge ruled Tuesday that the former Los Angeles gang leader provided no proof that there was an immunity deal set in place years ago by federal and local authorities.

Keffe has reportedly been charged with battery by a prisoner after engaging in a "mutual combat" with a fellow inmate.
