Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Dennis Quaid's Happy Face true-crime series is set to premiere March 20 on Paramount+. Tony Award winner Annaleigh Ashford plays Melissa Moore, daughter of Keith Jesperson, the man known as the Happy Face Killer (Quaid) for murdering at least eight women in the United States in the early 1990s.

If you thought Dennis Quaid was well deployed as the creepy villain in The Substance or The Intruder (or Reagan… just kidding!), then here’s some good news. The actor will continue his creepy streak in Happy Face,

Happy Face catches up with Melissa Moore, played by Annaleigh Ashford, after a decade of no contact with her serial killer father, played by Dennis Quaid. With limited time, Melissa must determine if an innocent man will be framed for a crime her father committed.
