Instead of the typical All-Star Game, the NHL has put together the 4 Nations Face-Off, an eight-day tournament featuring players from four countries. Despite some unfortunate injuries to star players, hockey fans will get to see what is essentially a best-on-best tournament with players fighting for international bragging rights.

The 4 Nations Face-Off is here, as four countries are battling in best-on-best action from Montreal and Boston. Canada, Finland, Sweden and the USA are all going head-to-head with the top talent in the NHL for the right to be crowned international champions.

The first game in the nine-day international tournament that will run through Feb. 20 will take place on Wednesday night.
