Lahore: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has dismissed two employees for their involvement in the illegal smuggling of mobile phones, as part of the ongoing accountability process within the airline.

On May 22, 2020, a PIA Airbus A320 aircraft was operating a domestic flight from Lahore to Karachi when the plane crashed into a crowded residential area near its destination.
