Bengals coach Zac Taylor says the team is still working through a contract impasse with DE Trey Hendrickson, 31, who is in the final year of his current deal.
Zac Taylor is representing the Bengals at the NFL Annual Meeting this week and gave the latest update on Trey Hendrickson in his media appearance this week. Reports indicate Hendrickson is looking for a deal over $30 million per year.
The Cincinnati Bengals have signed their big-play wide receivers, Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, to long term extensions at record numbers. They are both happy as they are getting their money and do not have to worry about going back to the negotiating table for a while.

Hendrickson, though, is a different beast. The Bengals have a high trade asking price on his services and technically have him under contract for one more season. A team acquiring Hendrickson would then need to meet that trade price, then give him the big-money extensions he wants.
