Monty the Giant Schnauzer of Chaplin, Conn., retired after winning best in show at the 2025 Westminster Kennel Club dog show, his handler Katie Bernardin said.

Monty, a giant schnauzer who hails from Ocean City at the Jersey Shore, was named Best in Show at the 2025 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show on Feb. 11 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
