History was made on Sunday. And not in a good way for the Flyers. They suffered a 2-0 loss to the Colorado Avalanche, marking the first time in franchise history that the Orange and Black have been shut out in three straight games in the regular season.

On Saturday afternoon at Ball Arena in Denver, the Flyers sustained a 2-0 loss to the Colorado Avalanche. Mackenzie Blackwood stopped all 24 shots he faced. In a losing cause, Samuel Ersson was arguably the Flyers best player in stopping 30 of 32 shots.

Danny Briere said the Flyers weren't giving up on the season and John Tortorella would never have such a mindset. But, boy, this felt like a telling loss.
