Major U.S. stock indexes were higher Monday afternoon as the U.S. equities market looks to rebound from a sharp sell-off at the end of last week.

U.S. stocks are ticking higher as Wall Street recovers some of last week’s sharp slide. The S&P 500 rose 0.3% in afternoon trading Monday.

Wall Street’s major averages look to open Monday’s trading session in a mixed fashion after investors watched the broader markets close lower after the the latest rally fueled by the presidential election faded.
