NHRC issues notice to Bihar government over snake bite victim's death due to delayed treatment and alleged police bribery.

The policemen had reportedly demanded Rs 2,000 in 'bribe', forcing him to call his brother in distress who could arrange only Rs 700 to manage his release, but by that time the man had already lost considerable time in getting critical treatment, the rights panel said in a statement.

NHRC has issued a notice to Bihar police regarding a man's death after being allegedly detained post-snake bite, raising serious human rights concerns.

Political strategist-turned-activist Prashant Kishor said he used to work for other political parties and leaders by helping them in their campaigns, communication, identifying issues and selecting candidates and now he will do the same for the people of Bihar.

The official launch will take place at a grand event at the veterinary college ground in Patna, where Kishor will reveal the party's name, its constitution, and introduce a 25-member leadership team,
