Delhi Chief Minister Atishi on Monday claimed that she was prevented from meeting climate activist Sonam Wangchuk, who was detained at the Singhu border, by Delhi Police personnel at Bawana police station.

Sonam Wanchuk's supporters, who were also detained, have been kept at several other police stations at Delhi borders.

Sonam Wangchuk and close to 150 other activists from Ladakh were detained by Delhi Police for allegedly violating prohibitory orders, passed a few hours before they reached the border.
