X has also introduced new annual plans for Basic and Pro API tiers that are cheaper than developers paying a monthly fee. The Basic annual plan costs $2,100 and the Pro annual plan costs $54,000.

The company launched the Basic (v2) access tier for 'hobbyists with 10,000 GET/month and 50,000 POST/month, two app IDs, and Login with Twitter for $100/month'.

X Basic API tier costs rise. The Pro tier’s $5,000 monthly rate remains unchanged, but adjustments have been made to its usage caps to offer subscribers more value for money.
