The Nashville Predators ended a two-game losing streak on Tuesday, beating the Vegas Golden Knights 5-3 at Bridgestone Arena.

Steven Stamkos scored two goals and assisted on another to lead the Nashville Predators to a 5-3 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Predators began the current homestand with a 4-1 loss to the Washington Capitals on Saturday night in a game that saw Filip Forsberg tally on the power play and Nashville outshoot its opponents 33-16. However, the Preds were left disappointed in the final result as they look to get back in the win column tonight.

Steven Stamkos scored twice and also had an assist and Filip Forsberg added a goal and an assist as the Nashville Predators jumped out to a four-goal lead and then held on for a milestone 5-3 victory over the visiting Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday night.

Nashville forward Jonathan Marchessault had an assist in his first game against the Golden Knights since signing a five-year, $27.5 million contract with the Predators on July 1. He spent the previous seven seasons with Vegas, helping the Golden Knights win their first Stanley Cup championship in 2023.

A Golden Knights forward scored three times, but they couldn’t climb out of a big deficit against Nashville and former Knight Jonathan Marchessault on Tuesday.
