Smith Entertainment Group announced Wednesday that it will conduct another survey to determine the name and branding of its NHL team. Two of the proposed names came from previous surveys, while the third is new. Each name has a corresponding logo and jersey design, which are included in the survey.

The Utah Hockey Club has chosen three finalists for the permanent team name it will adopt beginning with the 2025-26 NHL season. Yeti isn’t one of them.

John Marino’s arrival has helped steady the backend without Sergachev. The defenseman — who was traded to Utah this summer from the New Jersey Devils — made his team debut on Jan. 14 and has played in four games. The 27-year-old missed training camp and the first half of the year after undergoing lower-back surgery in October.
