Many of Roblox's remote employees will be asked to adhere to a three-day in-office work week or take a severance package by January 2024.

Richard Sim, the senior director of product for monetization at Roblox shared his daily routine. He starts with a bike ride, then heads into the office where he works with more than 60 engineers.

Roblox will at least be helping those it asks back to the office with relocation costs for employees, as this sudden new mandate can have drastic implications in employees lives.

Roblox tells most employees to return to the office part-time or take a severance package. CEO says it's "an innovation company and we needed to get back to working in person".

Roblox is moving away from remote work. In a letter to employees, Roblox CEO David Baszucki says most employees will be required to return to the company’s California office by next summer.
