The Seattle Kraken have put goaltender Philipp Grubauer on waivers with the purpose of sending him to the minors.

Grubauer was placed on waivers Wednesday for the purpose of reassignment to AHL Coachella Valley. Grubauer is currently mired in a six-game losing streak for the Kraken, going 0-5-1 with a 4.73 GAA.

Grubauer gave up five goals on 22 shots in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Ducks.
