Linda Noskova of the Czech Republic rolled to a 6-4, 6-1 victory over second-seeded Paula Badosa of Spain in the second round of the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open on Wednesday.

Badosa is now a Slam semifinalist and a top-10 player but all of that seemed impossible just 10 months earlier.
