Officials and a local hospital in Pakistan says that an attack launched by suicide bombers at a military base has killed at least 12 people and wounded 30 others.

Thousands of people poured on to the streets of Bannu in northwestern Pakistan for the funerals on Wednesday of 18 people, including six children, killed in a suicide attack on a security installation.

The death toll from a bomb attack on an army base in Pakistan has risen to 34. The number includes five soldiers, the military said in a statement on Wednesday. The military’s media wing, ISPR, said,
