There appears to be no limit to the hubris of Governor Gavin Newsom. While the state continues to suffer from failed progressive policies that hemorrhage productive citizens and businesses leaving California, Newsom is laser-focused on being the most prominent figure of the Trump resistance.

Newsom released a short video Tuesday where he talks about his visit, which included a meeting with President Joe Biden.

In the eight days since Trump was elected president, Newsom has taken aggressive steps to combat any bids by the president-elect to deny the state needed federal funds, including calling a special session of the state Legislature that will begin next month to increase funding to the state Department of Justice to mount legal challenges to the incoming administration.
