The Buffalo Bills quarterback was named the NFL’s most valuable player for the first time Thursday, further cementing his status among the league’s elite.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson received 12 first-place votes and teammate Derrick Henry got one. Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and Bills QB Josh Allen also received one first-place vote each.

Just like the Buffalo Bills' 27–25 win over the Baltimore Ravens in the divisonal round, the MVP voting between quarterbacks Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson went right down to the wire. Allen was officially crowned the 2024 NFL MVP on Thursday night at the NFL Honors award show in New Orleans, edging Jackson by a small margin.
