Tucson-based Raytheon Missile Systems will vie with rival Lockheed Martin to develop a new long-range, hypersonic anti-ship missile for the Navy.

Raytheon and Northrop Grumman have been awarded contracts of about $41 million each to continue development of the Glide Phase Interceptor.
