A fire killed two horses as it blazed through pop-up stables in Southwest Philly on Thursday, according to the Pennsylvania SPCA and ACCT Philly. Twelve other horses were rescued, along with a handful of other farm animals.

ACCT Philly said several other horses and animals were being kept at what it described as a "popup stable" at a redevelopment property in the city.

On Thursday morning, smoke poured from a stable where horses were being kept near the intersection of South 58th Street and Eastwick Avenue.
