Your script can manipulate data, perform common Excel functions such as graph creation or automatically input data into specific cells. Only Visual Basic code can be used with the VBA editor.

Using your favorite text editor, open the WeightLogger.vbs script you just downloaded. Enter the path to where your weight.xls spreadsheet lives and save. Double-click on the WeightLogger.vbs script.

Microsoft 365 Insiders can check out a new version of Excel in Windows that now includes the Python Editor inside the app. It will also continue to be available as an add-in via Excel Labs.
