Twitter/X rival Bluesky announced it will impose rate limits to improve its network stability and security, but assured users their posting experience would not be impacted.

Users are seeing a message saying ‘rate limit exceeded’, and it’s preventing them from seeing new tweets in their feeds, sending out their own tweets, and even sending a DM (direct message).

The limit, imposed to "address extreme levels of data scraping and system manipulation", is the latest change by Twitter, which was last year acquired by Musk for $44 billion. Sign up here.
