The world lost a fantastic human being on January 2, 2025 when Sergeant Andrew “Andy” Brent Kempker, 43, a dedicated police officer, loving father, son, brother, and cherished husband, passed away.

That snapped a three-game losing streak that had many questioning if the team was actually improving under head coach Brent Pry. Following the regular season, Pry shared his confidence in the program.
