Madi Wilson, a four-time Olympic medalist as part of Australia’s vaunted relay contingent, announced her retirement on Thursday.

The former UK track and field standout rides Olympics glory to a barrier-shattering win in the Lexington Herald-Leader’s 44th Sports Figure vote.

In a recent appearance at Warrnambool Magistrates’ Court, livestock agent Andrew Wilson pleaded guilty to four charges for traceability offences under the Livestock Disease Control Regulations 2017.

Veronica Wilson said she was “extremely grateful” to John Swinney for speaking to her and son Andrew about the ongoing investigation into the murder of her husband Alistair in November 2004.
