We’ve seen a few different ways to add textures to 3D prints, including using Blender to modify model surfaces. Textures can enhance the look of a model, and are also a good way to hide layer lines.
Blender's add-on ' BlenderGPT ' has appeared, which outputs an appropriate model just by entering a prompt. It uses OpenAI's GPT-4 and generates Python code when prompted.
However in its latest version it is still capable of creating 3D models from clean and simple flat images you can see a few examples here. Although a more complex 3D images it currently does struggle.
