AWS's push into custom silicon via its Graviton4 CPUs and Trainium series accelerators is set to erode NVIDIA's market share in the AI chip sector.

Anthropic’s Claude Opus 4 is trained on Trainium2 GPUs, according to AWS, and Project Rainier is powered by over half a million of its own.
