Former Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has joined German second-tier side Schalke until the end of the season. Karius, 31, had been without a club since his contract with Newcastle expired at the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
Schalke 04 have signed Loris Karius on a contract running until the end of the current season. The 31-year-old shot-stopper previously played for Liverpool, FSV Mainz 05, Besiktas, FC Union Berlin and Newcastle United. Schalke moved to secure Karius following the loan of Ron-Thorben Hoffmann to Eintracht Braunschweig.
