Britain's Princess Beatrice has given birth to her second child with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi -- a daughter named Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi.

The Princess of York, 36, welcomed her first child — a baby girl named Sienna — with her husband on Sept. 18, 2021.

Athena’s arrival will place Beatrice’s younger sister, Princess Eugenie, back one place to 12th in line. Eugenie’s children, August (born in February 2021) and Ernest (born in May 2023) will be pushed back to 13th and 14th place respectively.

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have welcomed their second child together. A precious photo of the royal baby accompanied the announcement.

"Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi," the property developer wrote on social media, posting the same photo that the palace shared. The shot showed the newborn raising a hand to her face while dressed in a white outfit, snuggled up in a pink blanket as someone held her.

The princess and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, named their daughter Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi, according to the palace. A first photo of Athena, born weighing 4 pounds and 5 ounces, was also shared Wednesday by the palace. The photo was taken by Mapelli Mozzi.
