Princess Beatrice's baby, Athea, now joins an informal club of family members with the middle name 'Elizabeth', in honour of the late Queen.

Athena Elizabeth, who is believed to have been named after the late Queen Elizabeth II, is now 11th in the line of succession to the British throne.

The princess and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, named their daughter Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi, according to the palace. A first photo of Athena, born weighing 4 pounds and 5 ounces, was also shared Wednesday by the palace. The photo was taken by Mapelli Mozzi.

Both the newborn and her big sister share the middle name Elizabeth in tribute to their great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.
