The Space-Time Smackdown set in Pokémon TCG Pocket will be released worldwide on Jan. 30, though the exact timing will depend on your timezone.

Of all the new cards being added to Pokemon TCG Pocket with the upcoming Space-Time Smackdown set, one has the potential to be a meta game-changer.

The Space-Time Smackdown expansion will focus on the Sinnoh region and will feature Dialga and Palkia as the figurehead Pokémon for the two new packs. The expansion also introduces Tool-type cards that will provide your Pokémon with even more support in battle.

Space-Time Smackdown is the second main set in Pokémon TCG Pocket, following on from Genetic Apex and the Mythical Island mini set. The meta is shifting with the addition of over 100 new Pokémon to the game, along with new Trainer and Supporter cards.

Pokémon TCG Pocket is closing out January with a bang. The hit mobile game is getting a much-needed content refresh later this month in the form of a new set called Space-Time Smackdown. Two separate booster packs will feature Dialga and Palkia on their covers,

This means that players actually won't be able to trade cards from the Space-Time Smackdown expansion when it launches, and will instead have to wait for that option. It also means that all the Pokemon TCG Pocket rarest cards can't be traded, so if you wanted somebody's gold Mewtwo ex, you won't get it.
